Important Dates
Friday April 13: All team members must complete waivers and equipment checks between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. at Byrd's Adventure Center. All teams must be present at 7:00 p.m. at Byrd's for a pre-race orientation and safety meeting.
Special arrangements can be made for those who can't arrive until race
morning (please contact Pam at 479-667-4066).
Saturday April 14: Ozark Challenge Adventure Race starts.
About the Race
Participants should be prepared to complete up to 20 miles each of trekking,
mountain biking and canoeing.
Overall race distance shall not exceed 50 miles. This will be a 6 to 12-hour
sprint (course will be similar to last year with a few changes to keep things
interesting). Strong navigational skills are required. The race is also
a USARA Nationals qualifier.
Additional adventure racing elements may be encountered.
Adventure Racing Categories
There are three entry categories for the Sprint race. All categories will compete together.
Solo
2-Person Coed or Non-Coed
4-Person Coed
Race Fees
The entry fee for all participants is $95 per person (includes boats, maps, t-shirts, camping, and other goodies).

In addition, you will need to purchase an $8.00 one-event USARA license or an annual USARA license. For more info on the USARA and this license, view their website at: www.usara.com. If you are purchasing a one-event license, you will do so at race check-in. If you are already a USARA member, make sure you bring your license to race check-in.
